Last week, while in Kansas City, I took pictures of a sweet little boy. He just recently turned two months old and was very easy to work with. Here is a sneak peek at his session.

Lange Johnson Wedding
On September 28, I had the pleasure of going out to Callaway for a country wedding. It was my first time shooting an outdoor wedding and was a blast! I loved the corn field, all the cowboy boots, and the great outdoor tent for the reception. Anna Maria was a very lovely bride and I was glad to document her big day for her. Here is a sneak peek at their wedding.

Underwood Wedding First Look
Last weekend, I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding in Lexington, NE. The bride and groom, Brandi and Curt, were outstanding! I could tell they are deep in love with each other and always will be. It was a real pleasure to work with them. Anyway, here are a few shots from the wedding....

Tips to a successful engagement session
Hello. Today I will be discussing a few tips on getting prepared for a great engagement shoot as a client.
- Have a few different locations in mind that you would love to be photographed. For example: a park, your house, downtown or a favorite art museum.
- Try to make you and your partner match or share the same color scheme. I find that black is really flattering. Another nice combo is white and khaki.
- Be prepared to kiss.... a lot! I think kissing pictures really show your love for your partner and all that mushy stuff.
- Talk to the photographer ahead of time to touch base on what you expect out of the shoot. Photographers usually love having your ideas as they go into the session.
- Tell the photographer if you have any children or pets you would like to include. This will give them an opportunity to think of potential poses.
